Yvonne S. Roberts

Yvonne was born to the late Jessie and Clara Sanders on August 22, 1950, in Birmingham, AL. She was the second child of eight.On May 28, 2021, Yvonne made her transition to her heavenly home, where she rests peacefully with the Lord.Confessing Christ at an early age, she joined First Missionary Baptist Church East Boyles, where she was a devoted member for 56 years. Yvonne graduated from New Castle High School. After many years, Yvonne enrolled in Virginia College of Birmingham, where she obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration.She was preceded in death by: her parents, and her brothers, Edward Charles and Larry Sanders.She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter, Yolanda Knight; son-in-law, James Knight; five grandchildren, Crystal, Jessie, JoAnn, James III, and Raven; eleven great-grandchildren, QuanDarrious, Amirion, Dakota, Montavious, Kentrell, Josiah, KeAndre, Shaniya, Kameron, Davari, and Kori; four brothers, Jessie (Mary), Orson (Terri), Bruce, and Earl (Dana) Sanders; one sister, Stella Canty; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
