Willie Reid Lawson

Mr. Willie Reid Lawson was born October 24, 1954 to Ed and Dora Jones Lawson in the Village Springs community of Pinson, Alabama.He attended Village Springs School, North Jefferson School of Warrior and Pinson Valley High School where he excelled in many sports. Willie worked at Oil Field Pipe for many years until his health began to fail.Willie will be fondly remembered for always making you laugh; he was really a good guy.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Dora Lawson; brother, Calvin Lawson; and sisters, Lela Walters and Debra Johnson.He leaves to cherish his memory; sisters, Sarah and Wanda Lawson of Pinson, Alabama; brother, Edward Lawson; dearly beloved nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Johnson; ex-brother-in-law, Herbert Brown; neighborhood brothers who he loved, Roosevelt Smith, Jr., Jessie Brown, Jerome Brewster, Mark Bonner, Bennie Smith, Dee Griffith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
