Tyrone Williams Obituary

Tyrone Williams was born November 22, 1960 in Montgomery, Alabama to Ms. Susie Mae Williams and Mr. Wiliam Murrell. In January of 1961, Ms. Williams moved her family to Birmingham, Alabama. Ms. Williams and her family united with Grant Chapel AME Church under the leadership of the Reverend E. P. Greene. Raised in Grant Chapel, Tyrone was baptized as a child and his life dedicated to God. He also served on the Youth Usher Board. Tyrone was educated in the Birmingham Public School System and was a resident of Birmingham's historical Southside community. Although the official date of his transition is listed as Monday, September 17, 2007, as a family and community, we believe that God dispatched His angels to receive Tyrone on a day unknown to man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Tyrone was preceded in death by his brother, Stefone R. Williams, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Timmons.
