Tammie Renee Pierce

       Ms. Tammie R. Pierce was born on May 9, 1970 to Mr. Edward and Eddie Mae Pierce in
Birmingham, AL.
       Tammie entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 24 at UAB Hospital surrounded by her
family. She was preceded in death by Eliza and Jessie Cook and Shelly and Arlean Pierce.
       Tammie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Corinth Baptist Church. She was an
active and faithful member who sang in the choir, worked with the youth and assisted with the
kitchen ministry.
       She received her formal education with the Hewitt Trussville School System in Trussville,
Alabama.
       Tammie, affectionaly known as “Dobe”, will be rememberd by her family and friends for being
loving, caring and being the life of the party. She enjoyed and loved her family. She was a baby
sitter for many of our children. She also was a hairstylest who specialized in dreads. She leaves
a huge void and will be truly missed.
       Tammie leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Erica Pierce (Eric); her loving son:
Eric Pierce , Birmingham, AL; her devoted parents: Edward and Eddie Mae Pierce, Trussville, AL;
her pride and joy her grandchildren Kylee, Halle, Erionna, Emani, and Eric Jr., Birmingham, AL.
sisters, Debra McDonald, Tina Sargent, Annette Pierce, Birmingham, AL; Tammie was loved by
many and leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family
and friends to cherish her memory.
