Stephen Patrick Greer

Mr. Stephen Patrick Greer, 36, unexpectedly returned to his heavenly home on April 19, 2019. Patrick was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on August 6, 1982, to mother Juanita Greer, father Charlie J. Bankhead, Jr., and "Daddy", Johnny J. Allen. He was educated in the Birmingham School System. At an early age, he confessed to the beliefs and teachings of Jesus Christ and joined East Birmingham Church of God in Christ.He moved to Tacoma, Washington, in 2017 and was employed with UPS before his departure to be with the Lord. Patrick loved The University of Alabama ("Roll Tide"). He enjoyed being a free spirit, a REBEL, and riding his motorcycles. Patrick was the community's baby; he was loved by so many! His passion was old cars, Air Jordan sneakers, video games, and playing spades. Patrick was very spirited in his beliefs and questions regarding the Almighty God. Patrick loved his family, and he always had love for the Lord.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma Henrettia Greer and John Wesley Greer, Sr., and Charlie J. Bankhead, Sr., and Florida Ogden Bankhead; his uncles, Louis Hall, Marion Long (Bigman), and John Wesley Greer, Jr. (Preacher); and his aunt, Helen Woody. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Juanita and Johnny Allen, and Charlie Bankhead, Jr. (Wanda); his beloved son, Jaylen Jones of Augusta, Georgia; his brother, Sean Edward Allen of Bedford, Texas; uncles, Jimmy Greer (Mary), Kenneth Bankhead (Kathy), Michael Bankhead, and Douglas Bankhead; and his aunts, Dolly Yarbrough, Arline Bothwell (Lonnie), Marettia Greer Ephraim, Carol Bankhead Caine, Patricia Bankhead, Jenny Gail Bankhead Metcalfe (Jimmy), and Barbara Bankhead. Lastly, Patrick leaves to be cherished by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
