Stanley Cherry Obituary

Stanley Leron Cherry was born October 26, 1969, to Leroy and Leila Cherry.  Stanley was full of life and very energetic throughout his life. He dearly loved his sister and two brothers. Kami and his children Zhane and Stanley Cherry, Jr. were the joy of his life. He loved fishing and watching sports, especially his favorite team, THE AUBURN TIGERS (War Eagle).

Stanley accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church in Fairfield, Alabama. He attended the Jefferson County and Birmingham School systems. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Mt. Avery Missionary Baptist Church, Margaret, Alabama.

He united in holy matrimony with Kami Wathen on March 11, 2021, and to this union one child was born, Stanley Cherry, Jr.

He leaves to treasure his memories: a loving wife, Kami Cherry; daughter, Zhane Cherry; son, Stanley Cherry, Jr.; granddaughter, Aubrey Hines; father, Leroy Cherry (Erneen); mother, Leila Powers; sister, Sheldra Wade; brothers, Reginald Cherry (Keya) and Wiilliam Cherry; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
