Shawna L. Ward

Ms. Shawna Lisa Ward was born to Mrs.Carrie Bennett Ward and Mr. Prince Ward onSeptember 15, 1965, in Pensacola, Florida. Shawna accepted Christ at a very early age and became a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Boston, MA. While attending English High School, Shawna became head cheerleader and was also a member of the softball team. After graduating high school in 1984, she attended Boston University.In 1990, Shawna relocated to Birmingham, Alabama. She established fellowship with the Mt.Zion Community Church and Saved by Grace Ministries. In 2005, Shawna became employedwith Synovous Bank and remained a loyal employee until her health failed.Shawna departed this life on September 11, 2020. She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Prince Ward. She leaves behind: son, Kevin J, Perry; granddaughter, McKenzie Piccaluga Perry; mother, Carrie J. Ward; sister, Shelly Ward; brothers, Eric (Valerie) and Terrance Ward; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
