Sharion A. (Robinson) Eaton

     Sharion Ann Robinson-Eaton was born on May 11, 1959, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Dock
and Mattie Robinson in Birmingham, Alabama as the third of nine children born from
this union. Sharion was called to eternal glory unexpectedly on January 17, 2026.
     Sharion was baptized early in life as a devoted Catholic. The Robinson family attended
and were very active members of Holy Rosary and Saint John Bosco Catholic Church.
Sharion taught CCD Classes (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) and planned and
cooked monthly menus for the church fellowship.
     Sharion attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, John Carroll Catholic High
School and graduated from Jacksonville State University where she earned her
Bachelor of Social work and Gerontology. She momentarily worked for a retirement and
nursing facility until she was employed with the United States Postal Service where she
gave over several years of service until her retirement.
     During this time in Sharion’s life, she met Mr. Earl Eaton Jr through a mutual friend and
after only a few months of dating the two were joined in holy matrimony on January 12,
1991, until Earl’s earthly departure in 2015. Sharion was then courted by Mr. Steven
Price from 2019 until his untimely death in 2024.
     Sharion spent much of her time doing the Lord’s work through acts of service by taking
on tasks to make other people’s lives easier and did so because she wanted to not
because she was asked to and never wanted anything I exchange. Sharion often kept
her nephews and nieces before having children of her own and made sure to help them
with homework, get to extracurricular activities and even took on the responsibility of
teaching many of them to drive. Sharion was known for being an excellent cook and
loved to make sure that her family got their favorite dishes during the holidays as well,
even if this meant cooking a pan separately just for one person. Sharion made time in
each of her days to tend to family and friends that were sick and nurse them back to
health.
      Sharion was not only kind and generous but also had a sense of humor. When Sharion
retired at the age of 36, she stopped aging and has been 36 years old for the last 30
years. She had a love for music as she enjoyed singing and listening to her favorite
artists John Denver and Luther Vandross.
      Sharion is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Eaton Jr., special friend Steven
Price, parents, Dock and Mattie Robinson, in-laws Earl and Creola Eaton, sisters-in-law
Angela Robinson, Marie Eaton-Rivers, Laura Jean Eaton, brother-in-law Robert Eaton,
niece Krystina Robinson and great nephew Jah’Real Floyd.

      Sharion was loved and will be missed by many, she leaves to cherish her memory three
children: Cedric Mark Robinson (Birmingham, AL), Lawrence Earl Eaton (Birmingham,
AL) and Marysha Jean Eaton (Irondale, AL), a bonus son Frederick(Tabitha) Childs,
three grandchildren: JaMarcus O’Neil Eaton, Faith Ann-Marie Eaton, and Hope Faye-
Renee Eaton. nine siblings: Daryl (Donna) Robinson of Birmingham, Al, Verna(Jackie)
