On June 5, 1930, an angel named Sara Lee Hill was born to the union of Fred Hill and Ezzie Hill, in Belle Ellen, Alabama.She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Union Baptist Church. She was on the usher board. She loved the Lord. She was a member of the Shelby Spring W.M.E. Association Missonary Society.She was remembered for her stylish clothes, soul food cooking, creativity, and her southern hospitality. She worked as a caregiver for children in the community.Sara Lee departed this life on December 2, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Hill and Ezzie Hill; son, Amos Broadnax, Jr.; sisters, Addie Mae Rice, Pauline Usher,Leathe Bell, and Rosetta Hill; and brothers, James Fred Hill and Coleman Hill.Sara leaves to cherish her loving memories to: daughters, Brenda (Lovell) Wilkerson, Sharon (Robert) Snelson, and Veronica (Tracy) Lowe; son, De Wayne Hill; sister, Shirley Clemonsand El Freddie; grandchildren, Tabitha Wilkerson, Derick Wilkerson, Damien Caracter, Tuwana Chae Broadnax, Robert Snelson, Jr., La Derrick Broadnax, and Adrena Broadnax;niece, Carol Rice of Boston, MA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends, including Marvis Kelser and Linda Jackson.
