Ronald Eugene Hill "Cat Man" was born on August 14, 1944 in Fairfield, AL and live most of his life in the Shades Valley community, McCalla, AL. He departed life on December 31, 2022 at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation of Pleasant Grove, AL. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clyde G. and Hannah L. Hill; twin sister, Patricia A. Hill and brother, Clyde W. Hill.
He attended Brighton High School (Class of 1962) in Brighton, AL. Ronald joined the United States Airforce and served his country honorably. He later began his career at United States Steel, Fairfield, AL as well as coached the neighborhood softball team of Shades Valley. Upon retiring, he was a avid coon hunter, enjoyed farming, raising cattle, fishing, and card games.
He will be remembered by many, including: his wife, Dianne Butler Hill; Brothers, Dr. Bobby (Roxie) Hill and Anthony Hill. Sister, Maxine (Alvin) Johnson. Two daughters, Ashley Green and Demetris (James) Avery. Non-parental children, Nathan and LaQuietta Butler. Three grandchildren, Natalia, Gabriel and James Avery II and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
