Nathaniel Jones

Nathaniel Jones was born on February 6, 1946 in Pinehill, AL.

As a young boy, he attended Lincoln Elementary School and Parker High School. He was employed with
Continental Van Lines for over 20 years until he retired. He gave his life to God in March 2025. He repented and asked God to come into his life.  He departed this life September 19, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Carter, his wife, Emily Jones and his son,
Nathaniel Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memories, sister and caregiver Elder Rose Carmichael, sisters, Minister Evelyn
Hudson-Wright (Michael) of Detroit, MI, Juanita (Terry) Lyde, and Elizabeth Green;  brothers, Richard
(Helen) Jones, Sammie (Beverly) Green and David (Jacqueline) Green, granddaughter, Natasha (Sydrick)
Woody, great granddaughter, Amya Woody;
nieces, Tanya (Pastor Darrell) Lindsey, Juanita Williams, Kelley (Anthony) Walker of Detroit, MI;
nephews, Lawrence Hudson Jr (Crystal) of Detroit, MI, David (Car’mesha) Williams and a host of great
nieces, great nephews and cousins, Minister Joyce Growder (cousin & prayer warrior).
