Mae Frances Rutledge was born to the late Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Gulean Rutledge. Mae Frances was educated in the Birmingham School system and graduated from A.H. Parker High School. She was employed with Gold Kist and Birmingham Public Works until she retired. Mae Frances confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Later, she joined Bethel Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. Mae Frances enjoyed spending time with family.
Mae Frances departed this life to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Jonathan Rutledge; mother, Mrs. Gulean Rutledge; sister, Christine Rutledge; brothers, Phillip C. Barkers, David Rutledge, Tommy Rutledge, Jonathan Barker and Leonard Rutledge.
Mae Frances leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted son, Tyon Rutledge; grandchildren, Kendall McKinney, DaeShanna Mushatt, Markel Hardy, Courtnel Fredrick McKinney, all of Birmingham, AL; great grandchildren, Neveah Marten, Royal Love, Kendall McKinney, Nafee Marten and Kash Love, all of Birmingham, AL; three sisters, Mary Ellen (Sammie Lee) McClure of Selma, AL, JoAnn Rutledge and Virginia Washington of Birmingham, AL; three brothers, Charles (Carmeleta), Arthur and Preston Rutledge of Birmingham, AL; three sisters-in-law, Priscilla Barker, Deborah Rutledge and Delores Barkers of Birmingham, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
