Lorene Harris Smiley

Mrs. Lorene Harris Smiley began life's journey on December 1, 1937, in Hayden, Alabama. She was born to Mr. Tolman Harris and Mrs. Irene Murphy Harris.Lorene Harris Smiley accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She then joined Liberty Church of God and later, began fellowship with Word of Faith Deliverance Temple.She joined in Holy union to Jerrias C. Smiley on September 13, 1959. Through this union, they brought into the world six wonderful lives.On May 8, 2020, God called her to take her rest. She was blessed to live a full and fruitful life.She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Irene Murphy Harris; father, Tolman Harris; twin sisters, Louise Gilbert and Lucille Hill; brother, Tolman Harris, Jr.; and son, Nathaniel Smiley.Memories of Lorene Harris Smiley will be forever cherished in the hearts of a devoted husband of 60 years, Jerrias C. Smiley; her children, Gracie (James) Farmer, Candace (Carlton) Finley, Warren (Rose) Smiley, Trodessa Smiley, Melinda (Dennis) Jemison; half sisters, Virginia Calhoun, Edna Faye (Johnny) Perrin, Rosie Harris, Ornetta Murphy; half brothers, Lonnie (Deborah) Harris, Steve Harris, James L. Harris; 13 grands; nine great-grands; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, church family and friends
