Johnny Ray Cunningham, age 66:The beloved Johnny Ray Cunningham was born in Helena, Alabama to Ollie Mae Cunningham and Edward Cunningham Sr. on June 2nd, 1953. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020. He was a graduate of Thompson High School. After high school, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. He is preceded in death by his wife Janice Crews Cunningham, father Edward Cunningham Sr., brother Edward Cunningham II and sister Bobbie Jean Cunningham. He is survived by his Mother Ollie Mae Cunningham, daughters Alisha Cunningham, Ashley Crews, Shenica Paige, son Armon Crews, grandchildren Kynnedy Cunningham, Phe'Shay Locke, and Aria Crews. Brothers, Larry Cunningham, Michael Cunningham, Ernest Cunningham, Jimmy Cunningham, sister Melissa Washington, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Poole's Funeral Chapel on Thursday April 2nd, 2020 from 1-4 pm. A private burial will take place on Friday April 3rd, 2020 at the Alabama National Cemetery.
