Jettie Howard Obituary

     Jettie Pearl was born on January 7, 1939, to the late Willie Mae Dow McAdory and
Noah McAdory in East Irondale, Jefferson County Alabama. Jettie was a lifelong
resident of the East Irondale and Irondale communities.
     Jettie confessed Christ at an early age and joined the St. James United Methodist
Church, Irondale, AL. Jettie grew up supporting and serving in many areas of ministry
in the church and became a lay leader where she continued in her calling and faith.
     Jettie was educated in the Jefferson County Public School System. Jettie was
employed and retired after many years of service at Workshops, Inc., Birmingham, AL.
Jettie was united in marriage to Morris Howard and to this union two children were born:
Bridgette and Morris Donald.
     Jettie was very outgoing, good-spirited and the kind of person that met you with a smile,
and you knew right away that to know her was to love her.
     Jettie was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Howard; a daughter, Bridgette
Starks; mother and father, Willie Mae Dow McAdory and Noah McAdory; a brother,
Arthur Dan Mostella and a sister; Janet Johnson.
     She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Morris Donald Howard and Deric
Leonard (Birmingham, AL); seven grandchildren: Keyonia Goston, Antoinette Bass,
Candice Bass, Morris Howard, Jessica Fowler, Mayia Williams and Tre Lumpkin
(Detroit, MI); a son-in-law, Bill Starks (Birmingham, AL), a host of cousins, other
relatives, the St. James United Methodist Church family and friends.
