James H. Richardson, Sr. was born June 20, 1937 to the late Sallie Mae Richardson in Birmingham, Alabama. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City.He was educated in the Birmingham City School System and graduated from Birmingham Southern College. James met and married Rosetta Hobson on December 1, 1957 and to this union 7 children were born. He retired from Heckett Industries.James was a member of the Swanee Sons of Birmingham, Alabama, who later became known as the Supreme Highlights.In addition to his late mother, he was preceded in death by 6 of his siblings, his wife Rosetta, his son Reggie, and his great-grandson, Kash. He departed this life on December 25, 2021.He leaves to cherish his memory: three loving daughters, Lora Richardson, DeAcqualanette, and LaShaundra (Clyde) Fields; a loving daughter-in-law, LaShonda Richardson (Reggie) all of Birmingham, Alabama; four devoted sons, Robert Lee (Francena)Richardson, Valdosta, Georgia, Jimmy (Valerie) Richardson, Hinesville, Georgia, James Henry (Shenee) Richardson, Birmingham, Alabama, Justin Myles, Birmingham, Alabam; two brothers, Harold (Ada) Brown of Georgia and Albert Daniels of Birmingham, Alabama; 27 plus grandchildren, 36 plus great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. One special brother/friend, Oscar Jones; one special sister/friend, Mamie Howard.
