Jacqueline Bernice Ogletree

Jacqueline Bernice Ogletree, age 65 of Warrior, went to be home with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Jackie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 1955 to the late Jack Edwards and the late Essie Mae Faulk Edwards. Jackie attended Sawyer Public Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went on to further her education at Courter Tech and enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly thereafter. She confessed her hope in Christ and joined St. James United Methodist Church under Rev. Theodore C. Hines. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Essie Mae Edwards, sister, Joyce Gail Glover, and son, Tyrone Overstreet. She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, KaEssie Letton, Detroit, MI and Octavia McKnight, Warrior, AL; seven grandchildren, Raveen(Ahkeem) Briggs, Clearfield, UT, Desirae McKnight, Warrior, AL, Tamia Letton and Brian Letton, Detroit, MI, Maleigha Richardson, Maliyah Richardson, and McKenna Richardson, Warrior AL; one great-grandson Ahkeem "Ace" Briggs, Clearfield, UT; one sister, Agnes (Rev. Theodore) Hines, Warrior, AL; three brothers, Daryl Edwards, Jeffery Edwards, and James (Paula) Edwards, all of Warrior, AL; two aunts, Willie Marie Porter, Warrior, AL and Carrie Givhan, Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. She also had a special bond with her niece and family Keisha (Brien) Hines-Craft, Briea Craft, Brice Craft and Brielen Craft, Marietta, GA. And last, but certainly not least a devoted and dear friend, Donald Welch.
