Mrs. Harriett W. Freeman, “Bay Bonnie,” was born
to Mr. Llewellyn G. Wilkerson, Jr., and Mrs. Bernice Griggs
Wilkerson on December 20, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama.
She received Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior at an
early age.
She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Harold A. Freeman
(99). To this union, two devoted and caring sons were born,
Mr. Harold Deon Freeman and Mr. Michael Juan Wilkerson.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Mr. Llewellyn and
Mrs. Bernice Griggs Wilkerson; husband, Harold Andrew
Freeman; brother, Llewelyn G. Wilkerson III; niece, Kecia
Wilkerson; nephew, Roger Smith, Jr.; and sisters-in-law,
Linda, Harriett, and Diane Freeman.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her (caregivers)
sons, Harold Deon Freeman and Michael Juan Wilkerson;
sisters, Kathy (Roger) Smith, Christy, Pamela, and LaWanda
Wilkerson, all of Birmingham, Alabama; brothers, Benjamin
C. Wilkerson of Heworth, Georgia, Gillespy Wilkerson
of Riverdale, Georgia, and Michael Cook of Birmingham,
Alabama; niece/daughter, Genesia (Kenneth) More of
Pleasant Grove, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Suenetta F. (Julian)
Osmond of Nashville, Tennessee, and Le’Shone Wilkerson of
Birmingham, Alabama; brothers-in-law, Tyorone Freeman of
Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughters, Brittany of Birmingham,
Alabama, Melanie, Marissa, and Mia’Lyn of Fredericksburg,
Virginia, and Amiracle Daily of North Carolina; very special
family members, Baker Coleman (Skip) and Melvin Whitt;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and
friends.
