Eliza Jones Obituary

Eliza was the first born of three children. She was born to the late Mr. Elizah Comer and Ms. Ophelia Green in Columbus, Georgia. She moved to Alabama at an early age with her family. She confessed Christ at an early age at Thirty-Second Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the church's Gospel Chorus. She then met Randall Fitts and a child was born. Later in life, she met and married James W. Boyd Jr. and this union produced five children. Eliza worked at Michael's Sirloin and Rossi on 20th Street South for thirty-five years.
