Diana Freeman Obituary

Mrs. Diana Morgan Freeman was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 19, 1955 to the late Mr.
Glover and Mrs. Lillie Mae Morgan Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and joined
First Baptist Church, Eastlake. Diana later joined New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, where she
served faithfully and was a member since its inception.

Diana was a 1973 graduate of Banks High School. She was also a 1975 graduate of Jefferson State
Community College.  On August 17, 1974, Diana married the love of her life, Mr. Gene Freeman. 
They were married for 50 years. To this holy union two children were born, La Kesha Diane and Emmanuel Eugene.

Diana loved her family and friends. She loved people and loved to laugh and smile. She will be missed
greatly.

Her father Mr. Glover Morgan Sr. and her mother Mrs. Lillie Mae Morgan preceded her in death.
Her memory will always live in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and
devoted husband of 50 years, Mr. Gene Freeman; her two children who adored her greatly,
Mrs. La Kesha Diane Reynolds and Mr. Emmanuel Eugene Freeman.; a caring son-in-law, Mr. Benjamin E.
Reynolds; two loving grandchildren, Ms. Madison Diane Reynolds and Mr. Benjamin Gene Reynolds; 3
brothers, Mr. Glover Morgan Jr., Mr. Larry Morgan, and Mr. Jonathan (Stephanie) Morgan, all of 
Birmingham, AL and. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, extended family, and friends.
