Clementine Hannon Obituary

     Clementine Holloway Hannon was born January 9, 1928, to the late Percy and Lizzy Holloway, in Wilcox County. Preceding her in death were her husband, Lonnie Hannon, Sr.; four children, Gloria Hannon, Ronald Hannon, Kelvin, and Marvis Hannon; five brothers, George Holloway, Percy Holloway, Clarence Holloway, Sam Holloway, and Abram Clark Holloway; and three sisters, Claudie Williams, Patty Voltz, and Mary Autry. 

     Clementine confessed Christ at an early age at Pine Level Baptist Church in Wilcox County. After marriage, she and her husband moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where they united at the St. Peter Baptist Church in East Thomas, later she joined First Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of Reverend Clyde Beverly, Sr. Clementine departed this life on February 25, 2026, at East Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was educated in the Wilcox County School System. Clementine was not an extravagant woman, but enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved God, her family, talking, and laughing with people, good singing, and preaching. 

     She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Rev. Lonnie Hannon, Jr., (Linda), (Birmingham, AL), Michael Hannon, (Birmingham, AL); sister, Hazel Bloodworth, (Birmingham, AL), grandsons: Dr. Lonnie Hannon III, Nelton Hannon, Michael Jamal Hannon, (Birmingham, AL): granddaughters: Yvette Hannon, (Birmingham, AL), Dr. Latoya Brown (Houston, TX) Tahirah Hannon (Birmingham, AL) and Jennifer Toney (Birmingham, AL), a special niece Barbara Gilmore, (Gerald), (Birmingham, AL), and a host of nieces, nephews, greatgrandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, friends, and the First Missionary Baptist Church, East Boyles family.
