Christielee King Williams

Christilee King Williams is the last of the late Eddie and Rev. Olivia King's children to go home. She is preceded in death by her siblings Elder Ruth Bryant, Johnny King, Greater King, Helen Crumb, and Ethel Rose Williams. She is also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Jimmie Lee, Sr., oldest son, Jimmie Lee Williams, Jr., grandson Darren L. Daniel, and great-great grandson, Ryan J. Lee, Jr. Christilee Williams was born on April 6, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama. Jimmie Lee Williams met and married Christilee on January 1, 1948. To this union was born four children, Jimmie Jr., Odessa, Jeanetta, and Curtis. Jimmie and Christilee shared a loving life of marriage for sixty-six years until his death May 14, 2014. Christilee was a beautician who enjoyed doing hair. She obtained her degree from McCampbell's Beauty School and Barber College of Birmingham and became a licensed beautician. The most enjoyable things in her life to do were going to church and being with family. She loved the Lord and served him with joy. She and her husband started their spiritual life at AOH Church of God under the pastorship of Rev. Jasper Roby. She was a member of the choir, including the Malindettes. After her sister, Elder Ruth Bryant started Powderly AOH Church of God, she allowed her children to attend there. Not long afterwards, Christilee joined with the Powderly AOH of God. In later years, Jimmie connected there. The church's name became Ruth Bryant Memorial Temple AOH Church of God. There she served as President of the Mothers' Board. She continued in the church under the pastorship of Overseer Donald R. Chamblee. She lived a saved and sanctified life, enjoying Jesus. She is survived by her children, Odessa (Doug) Craig, Jeanetta Daniel, and Curtis (Lisa); grandchildren, Scarley Jackson, Marian L. Daniel, Eddie Daniel, LaTeisha Daniel, Curtis A. Williams, Clinton Williams, Sharda Williams, and Jibreda Jackson; great-grandchildren, Antoinette (Michael) Harbin, Darren Daniel, Jr., Vandrick Jackson, Keon Jackson, Gabrielle Williams, Kingston Williams, Jaida Williams; and great-great-grandchildren, Rymiah Lee, Rashad Johnson, Michael Harbin, Jr., Amonn Jackson, Ashton Jackson, and Ke'mari Jackson; special grandchildren, Spencer and Carolyn Johnson
