Beverly J. (Carter) Dudley

BEVERLY J. DUDLEY passed away in the embrace
of family on October 13, 2025. Beverly Dudley was born
September 21, 1952, to the late Evelyn Sherrod and late
Howard Franklin Smitherman, both of whom preceded her
in death.

Beverly leaves her precious family to cherish her memory:
her husband, James Dudley; three sons, Jermaine (Stacey)
Dudley, Dion (Melinda) Dudley, and Brian Dudley; three
grandchildren, Salea Dudley, Dion Dudley, Jr., and Bryson
Dudley; sisters, Sandra (Edward) Robertson, Janice
(Dwayne) Hutchinson; brother Michael Carter; and a host
of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She devoted her life at an early age to AME Methodist
Church of West Blocton. She then moved her relationship to
Antioch Baptist Church, where she continued her faithful
walk with God.

Beverly retired from Burlington with over 30 years of
customer service. Being centered on family and faith, she
spent her time loving her family and friends.
