Arthur T. Danzy

Arthur Theodore Danzy, the third of six children, was born on April 28, 1940 to Robert and Pinkie Danzy in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from Western Olin High School, he went on to trade school becoming a Certified Automotive Painter and Metal Fabricator. While working his craft, he also held positions over the years working for AMICO, Tucker Utility as a Heavy Equipment Operator, and Hanna Steel from which he retired. "Small", as he was called back in the day, married Elsie Smith on April 28, 1963 and had two sons.He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, Robert Danzy, Jr. and Herman Danzy.He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Levert (Pam) and Marcus Danzy; brother, Luther (Dale) Danzy; sisters, Clara Williams and Katherine (Cordell) Snow; special niece, Keyani Boykin; best friend, Percy Letlow; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
