Life Legacy
Edwin Maurice Porter (Uncle BB) was born on August 12, 1956 to the late Mr. Sherry O'Neal Porter and Mrs. Willie Marie Porter in Warrior, Alabama.
He embraced Christianity at an early age and joined St. James United Methodist Church in Warrior, Alabama under the pastorate of the Reverend O. V. Porter II.
Edwin graduated from Warrior High School in 1974 and later joined the United States Army where he was honorably discharged. He retired from the United States Postal Service with twenty-one years of service. He departed this life on February 3, 2010.
