Life Legacy
Mr. Robert Pitts, Jr. was born June 12, 1922 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Julia) Pitts, Sr. He confessed Christ at an early age.
He was educated in the Birmingham public school system and was a graduate of A. H. Parker High School. Mr. Pitts was a World War II veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably in both the European/African/Middle Eastern Theater and the Asiatic Pacific Theater.
He was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Aline Pitts.
On December 8, 2009, he was called home to be with God.
He leaves cherished memories with two sisters, Mrs. Louise Sills of Birmingham and Mrs. Ella (Jimmie) Woods of Georgia; daughter, Raylene Thedord; and a host of nieces and friends.
