Life Legacy
Mary Alice Pitts was the oldest daughter in the union of Tommie and Priscilla Mitchell of Fairfield, Alabama. She was born, matured and resided in Fairfield, Alabama where her love of family and friends was the center of her life.
Although, she began her formal education in the Fairfield Public School System; she was a proud graduate from A. H. Parker High School, Birmingham, Alabama.
At an early age she confessed her acceptance of Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Fairfield, Alabama. She has been a devoted member from childhood to adulthood until her health began to fail.
Mary Alice was married to the late Willie James Pitts, who preceded her in death. She delighted in entertaining her family and friends.
Mrs. Pitts was a faithful member of the Eastern Star Adella Chapter #230.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-Melvin and Tommie Jr., her sister-Ollie. She leaves to mourn her passing: her dedicated and loving niece, Sharon (Reginald) Starks of New Orleans, Louisiana, nephew, Clifford Barnett Jr. of Fairfield, Alabama and a host of family and friends.
